Not convinced of the need for a Monitored Alarm

Gerard’s father asked him for some advice as he was concerned about burglaries occurring on the estate, he encouraged his father to get an alarm.

Fortuitously we contacted his father through a random marketing call when we at the time had 4 sets of monitored security equipment on offer in his street. He took us up on the offer the day he saw the equipment.

It was fitted the next day and Gerard was made a key holder which made him aware of Direct Response’s service and support standards 1st hand. He felt there was no need for him to spend money on an alarm as he had a system he had inherited although it was not connected or monitored

He naively thought that his dummy bell box was enough to deter a "would be" thief and felt that he was somewhat bullet proof.

He accepts he was wrong and that there is only one way to secure a home.

Gerard had a change of heart this Christmas when he was burgled and so he contacted us through our website. He is aware of other companies providing a similar and cheaper service but believes you get what you pay for and is delighted with the way we have dealt with his father.
